Strategies for how to conduct online problem-based learning

PBL is an indispensable teaching method for both basic medical sciences and clinical medicine, as well as discipline-based teaching system and integrated curriculum system. In the post-COVID era, hybrid teaching model combining online learning and in-person instruction is becoming a mainstream. Thus, this workshop is focused on how to ensure the implement and effectiveness of online PBL. Here, we will discuss:
♦What should be prepared for conducting an online PBL, including hardware, software, conceptual transformation of tutors and students;
♦ How to maintain an active atmosphere during an online discussion;
♦ How to ensure the quality of online learning.
